     I have on my nails a combination of FormulaX for Sephora nail polishes as well as primer & finish coat and a new one in the game, Maybelline NY ColorShow nail lacquer. Because the FormulaX is such a beautiful and tempting range of polishes and various effects that, for once, i couldn't resist and plunge head first. The best way to please yourself is to buy the Twenty-Two set which includes ... 22 colours and effects. Yes it's a mini size but frankly does it really matter? Nail polish bottles are hard to empty so maybe here, it will be different?! What about the longevity? AMAZING ... 8 days!

Today, this is a variation and possibility for your nails ... enjoy!

     I still enjoy still exploring the different possibilities with all of these exciting nail polishes from the FormulaX collection and mixing different brands as well. The result of this week is quite interesting.

     Both colours and effect applied easily. I must say that i like this combination, something springful but edgy at the same time thanks to this beautiful Beaming Blue glitters from Maybelline NY. The combinaison of this lilac and blue is perfect.

     When it's time to remove everything, i was especially impressed by this limited edition of the brocades effects from Maybelline NY, it was gone as easily as any nail polish, you completely forget that it's glitters ... amazing!!

     Do you need some inspiration to make your nails «smiling»? To be crazy beautiful? Well, don't go too far because i may just got what you need!

     For once, this time i cheated and instead of the usual FormulaX for Sephora on my nails, i decided to give a try with the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry polish (but i couldn't resist and primer & finish coats are from FormulaX). Who wouldn't like a nail colour supposed to dry super quickly?!  Always tones of colors on the shelves ... so let's have a look at this choice.
      What about the longevity? AMAZING ... 8 days but i don't know yet if i have to thank the set of FormulaX or if i can get it with another brand too (frankly i didn't expect such a result!).

Today, this is a possibility for your nails ... enjoy!

Expresso 170  /  Insta-Dry from Sally Hansen

       So, when it claims to dry fast ... it does! My advice would be to apply one coat after another, one nail at a time. If you want the colour to be really bright, nice and beautiful, don't stop at the 1st coat ... be bold!!
      I was EXTREMELY surprised to see how fast it was completely dry, like hard dry!! CRAZY FAST !!! I frankly never see something like that ... the question now, will i get the same result with another colour from the Insta-Dry?!

       When it's time to remove everything, no problem, perfect!

     I'm still exploring the different possibilities with all of these exciting nail polishes from the FormulaX set and mixing different brands as well. The result of this week is quite interesting and a bit disappointing too.

     Both colours applied easily and this neon Radioactive this time looks like a real flashy colour (it's a perfect one for St-Patrick's Day!!) only with two coats. I like this combination, something springful but not yet the end of this endless winter!! Punk Rock Pink looks amazing (just as i said on the previous part!).
     When it's time to remove everything, it's so easy with Punk Rock Pink !!

     Both colours applied easily but Zap which is supposed to be the neon one, so the bright and bold and flashy colour ... well as you can see for yourself, it's not quite like it with two coats and i'm not interesting at applying another one. But you know what, even if it doesn't look bold at all the result is interesting!
I like this combination, something springful, fresh and light!! Punk Rock Pink looks amazing on any colour you may wanna apply on your nails (trust me!) but Love Chemistry with its rose/gold glitter suits perfectly all the time.

     When it's time to remove everything, you have to work a bit more to get rid of Love Chemistry but Punk Rock Pink is easier to let go!!

     Both colours applied easily, i like this combination and it reminds me of some M&M chocolates for the bright and smooth colours!!
Bombshell looks better on the top of Outrageous, seems that the tangerine chunk is to close from the pinky colour.

     When it's time to remove everything, you have to work a bit more to get rid of any effect such as the Xplosives or the Sparklers but at the end, it doesn't take more than a few more seconds!!

     The colour of White Matter was a little bit difficult to apply smoothly and unfortunately the fibers of brush are kind of ... falling appart :( Dark Matter on the contrary works perfectly.
Turbulent looks better on the top of the black but obviously you miss some effect (because of the darkness!). The special effect nail polish from Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear looks way much better again above the black. ... but it's my preference!    

     When it's time to remove everything, you have to work a bit more to get rid of any effect such as the Xplosives or the Sparklers but at the end, it doesn't take more than a few more seconds!!

Add a little note using your lovely handwriting (much personal that way!) and write down for instance: «Beautiful from head to toe!» or «MEOW!» ... This gift will bring some warm to her heart or i don't know!!!

     If you wanna offer such set to someone, try to pay attention on the kind of nails colors does she use to wear: some neutrals, translucide, bold, effects ...  Most young women are wearing colors and all and every kind of special effect close to the Art Nail!     - MakeUpGeek = it's impossible for me not to mention these exceptional eyeshadows that you can find only online but it ships internationaly. This brand is the creation of Marlena - one of the Youtube make-up Guru (watch her channel) - created in America with an amazing quality, crazy pigmentation that make this item as good as any MAC eyeshadows or Urban Decay, even if it's not better!! You can't beat the friendly price of 5.99$ each ... believe me, the hight-end brands are easily double the price at least!


     Like i said with the Sephora's Sets, it's impossible to talk about eyeshadows and skip a base to your lid. On the contrary of Sephora, the drugstore doesn't really offer primers and some which are liked.
Fortunately, there's something i can offer you:

    - the Rimmel London / Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer = at a price around 5.99 and 7.99$CAD

     - the NYX / HD High Definition Eye Shadow Base = at a price around 10.99$CAD.

        - Urban Decay / Naked Palette(s) = this famous palette offers12 different eyeshadows in a variety of browns and golds shades, mostly shimmery for 62.00$CAD.  Easy to wear to everyone, on daytime or on a night out. The brand has launched a Naked 2 and a Naked 3 has just heat the shelves!

      - Urban Decay / Naked Basics = 6 different neutral shades including 1 shimmery for 32.00$CAD. This is the perfect palette for those who likes to stay discrete and neutral on the eyelid, even you can come up with some few different looks!

     - Too Faced / A Few of my Favorite Things = not only this palette offers 20 different eyeshadows in neutrals but some bolder colors too and that's perfect for someone who liked to change looks and dare more. You'll find as well 2 blushes, 2 bronzers, a mascara and a lip balm, plus a guide with some looks is included as well as a nice little clutch. All of them represent some of the most loved shades or items of the brand. It's a versatile palette for a small price of 47.00$CAD (instead of 62.00$CAD) ... a catch!!

       

     - Lorac / Pro Palette = a really interesting palette offering 16 shades, half in matte and half with some shimmer, plus a mini eye primer. This gives you the choice of the effect because it's kind of difficult to find matte eyeshadows in a palette. The shades stay mostly in a range of neutral/cream but with some shimmery ones, it's possible to dare more. The price is 55.00$CAD, very reasonable.

Obviously, you gonna find more brands and more palettes available. 

I just picked up the most famous and used ones but it's always up to you!!

     Let's not forget the eye primer!! Why using some? First, if your eyelid crease easily, applying an eye primer will make all the difference in the world ... your eyeshadows will stay all day long! Then, a primer can help to enhance eyeshadows, so it could be a plus for some eyeshadows with less pigments.

You only use a tiny bit on each eye, so the product lasts a really long time! My Shadow Insurance from Too Faced is still on after more than a year!!!

This is the best on the shelves for the High-end:

   - Nars / Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base = this is the best one out there for a really greasy eyelid, the price is 29.00$CAD.

   - Urban Decay / Primer Potion Tube Original = everybody seems to swear by this one. The brand is offering now 3 more bases. The price is 24.00$CAD.

   - Too Faced / Shadow Insurance = an excellent product (i really love this one!) for many on the planet. The brand is offering as well 3 different bases. The price is 24.00$CAD.
