FOTD - A Light in the Dark!

Hi everyone!

Back on make-up day. So, today a little bit different, maybe not for everyone because it's not that sheer or light on the eyes but i love the result. Absolutely gorgeous on green eyes.
Let's go for it!

First, apply an eyeshadow primer - for me the Too Faced Shadow Insurance - then with a brush take the MaybellineNY Color Tattoo 24Hr in 75 Electric Blue (A) and apply a thin layer on the lid but stay under the cut crease area.
Now, using some free pigments, make sure to have on your space work area a towel or a tissu before starting to work.

This is the Make Up For Ever Star Powder in Mecka (B) - a purpuly/brown shimmery color kind of holographic one. Not easy to describe (better to have a look at the picture) and since i bought it long time ago in France (it might be n.930 Marron Mordoré - Marron Mordoré) i'm not sure the color is available in North America but take any brand with the same effects of color.
I think the palette Comfort Zone from Wet'n Wild has a very similar color.

Take some of the powder inside the cap with a flat brush, and pat it very gently above the blue cream eyeshadow (A). With a clean dome shape brush, smudge the cut crease gently, you'll have sort of a halo effect with the color. Keep the same brush, put a pinky/cream matte color (C) Grimas n. 580 all over the eyelid above the crease area and under the brows. With a small pointed brush, keep the same color and dab some, inside the tear dot area.
Now, take another dome brush, and apply a bluish/green shimmery color in Mermaid (D) from Make Up Geek (see MUG ) and blend it well, staying in the outer corner of the eyes and in the cut crease. This time, in order to smudge the line of this new color, take another clean flat brush, some matte color close to your skin tone in Vanilla Bean (E) from MUG and apply it just under the brows in the outer corner of the eyes.

Go on your face. If you have any fall out, clean the area, then apply your foundation. Today, i'm using the BB cream Black Label Detox from Dr. Jart +. To highlight the under eye area, i dab some of the MaybellineNY Fit Me concealer in 15 Light (or on any blemish). I contour the jaw lines with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and apply on the cheek bone area the Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Tipsy - a matte coral one (F).

With the MaybellineNY Master Drama eye pencil in Vibrant Violet, i do a liner from the outer corner to the middle of the eye, then some small dots under the lash line staying in the outer corner.
Then take a small dome brush, smudge the under eye area and then apply Mermaid (D) all along the lash line. Blend it well, we don't want to see too much of it.  Now, don't be shy and put two coats of mascara on the top lashes and one on the bottom lashes. I used the Maybelline NY The Rocket Volum' Express in waterproof Black intense (or something like that). Brush your brows, fill them in with Rimmel eye brow pencil in hazel 002 and fix it with Anastasia Clear Gel.
Because the eyes are so vibrant, i'm not gonna put anything bold onto the lips (at least, not this time!). I applied the MaybellineNY Baby Lips in  30 Peach Kiss. Et Voilà!!

As always, have fun at recreating it and show me your version!
