FOTD - From Dust to Deep Water !

Hi everyone!

It's time to show another face of the day. The result is a soft smokey-eye with a pop of blue. Beautiful on dark eyes, still amazing on greens maybe not that much on blues (but you can change the color for a brown, black or purple if you want.).
It can be wear on daytime, if you think the liner to the lower lash line and the waterline will be too much, you can avoid it. The lips are too colorful, no problem, put something light and sheer if you prefer.

The eyeshadows are all from the professionnal brand Grimas, all matte ones (see Grimas).

Start working on your eyes first - in case your eyeshadows are powdery. I applied as always an eyeshadow primer from Too Faced / Shadow Insurance on all the eyelid.
Then, with a flat brush put a cream n.280 (B) color just on the lid, so stay under the crease, and with a dome shape brush apply a sandy n.520 color (D) just on the cut crease area. Blend it well. Keep the same brush and take a light grey n.883 (C) and put it above the sandy color but insisting a little bit more on the outer corner of the eye and you can put some on the lid but staying always close to the outer corner.
With a smaller pointy dome brush, place a dark night n.386 color (E) only on the outer corner and smudge it well so you'll have a «C» shape on this area with the darkest color.

Take the flat brush again and add some of the cream n.280 color (B) under the arch of the brow and inside the inner tear dot.

I took my Maybelline NY MasterDrama eye pencil in Sapphire Strength on both waterlines and i do a line on the lid as well. With the same small dome brush used before, smudge the line a little bit and with some of the dark night n.386 color (E), cover the line.

Now go to your skin and put some foundation: Rimmel WakeMeUp foundation in True Ivory 103. I put some stick concealer on spots with the Covergirl + Almay in Fair/Light and the Maybelline NY Fit Me concealer in 15 Light just under the eye area to highlight.

Back to the Maybelline NY MasterDrama eye pencil in Sapphire Strength and make some dots under the lower lash line (if you want, you can put another coat inside the waterline!!). Same small dome brush, same dark night n.386 color (E) and slightly smudge it under the lower lash line.

Brush your brow lashes and put some n.002 Hazel color from Rimmel Brow Pencil. Put on the top, a clear gel from Anastasia.
I'm currently trying a new waterproof mascara: the Covergirl Clump Crusher in Black/Brown. Put at least two coats because the eye make-up is dark (if you wish, you can wear some false lashes as well!), but don't forget the bottom lashes!

With a blush brush, i apply some Sephora Long Lasting blush in Healthy Rose (A) above the cheek bones and a little bit on the apples of the cheeks. Keep the brush and add some Too Face Chocolate Soleil under the cheek bones to contour.

This time i just applied a tiny bit of the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 012 Buff Beige under the eye and the nose.
For my lips, i put a Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 101 Celestial (i bought it in London, haven't seen any of those yet in Canada!:( The color has some pinky apricot tones, nice.

Et voilà!! Have fun at recreating it!
