A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 29)

To all lovers of teas and herbals around the world ... but more in Canada and the United-States, i'm coming back with some new teas and herbals offered by the David's Tea (stores or online).
This is what i got at home.
I'm gonna tell you what's inside the blends that i have and what i think about it. You'll decide if you wanna give it a try or not!!!
  • Yes We Cran (organic): a mix of Hibiscus, Cranberry, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Apple and some natural flavouring of Pumpkin spice. This new herbal has a slight tart taste in your mouth but stays nicely fruity. It kind of reminds me of the 'still waiting for the come back of the so loved' Rose Bling Bling ... perfect! A new love, especially for the colder seasons!!  - Caffeine Free.
  • Egyptian Chamomile (organic): only the fullness of egyptian Chamomile and nothing else!! More available after the summer, if you need something to help you go to bed or to calm you down ... this might be a winner!! Plus, a delicate, light taste of pure chamomile, you won't find anything like that elsewhere, it's a classic to have all year long. - Caffeine Free.
  • Sweet Apple Cider: a blend of Apple, Apple pomace, sweet Blackberry leaves, apple flavouring and some artificial vanilla and cream flavouring. Oh yeah baby ... this is what you need for the cold season (in 15 month!) to keep you calm! A perfect combination with a taste of real juicy and creamy hot apples ... delicious, now imagine you add inside some wine or even cider and bam!! a perfect comforting drink for adults against anything annoying! A keeper!!! Caffeine Free.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 28)

  • Super Ginger (organic): a mix of Green Roobois, Ginger, black Pepper, white Pepper, pink Peppercorns and Stevia. We'll see in 15 months, if it is as effective to help our throats against the Cold season, but at any time, this blend is the best ginger tea ever, simple because the taste is so light, the perfect amount. A new love!!  - Caffeine Free.
  • Hibiscus Punch (organic): a mix of Roobois, Cinnamon, Hibiscus, Ginger and Stevia. It's a nice combination of spice and hibiscus, just the perfect amount to enjoy this tea! Even if it's a soon to be retired blend from the store, as long as it's offered on the web at a special sale price, i think it's worth the mention and the try before it's too late! For the winter time, it'll be perfect. - ATTENTION / ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE ON THE WEB SPECIAL - Caffeine Free.
  • Cranberry Pear: a mix of Black Tea, Cranberry, Pear and Apple. With this black one, keep in mind to let it boil under 200F and don't let it brew too long (2-3 minutes max.) or you'll just finished with a bitter taste of black tea in your mouth!! If you stick to my recommendations, you will enjoy this sweet and light blend! - Low Caffeine.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 27)

  • Rush Gold (organic): a mix of White Silver Needle Tea with Mulberries and Coconuts. It's a very nice and light tea to drink, with a delicate taste of mulberries ... which by the way you can happily eat afterward when it's been brewed ... delicious!  - ATTENTION / CONTAINS COCONUT -  Low Caffeine.
  • Some Velvet Morning (organic): a mix of Chinese Green Tea with Dandelion root, Lemongrass, Orange peel and Schizandra berries. It's a light, simple but plain green tea, so if this is what you want, this one might be yours! Always being careful with the boiling temperature, keep it at 160F max. and the taste will be perfect! - Medium Caffeine.
  • Blood Orange Pu'erh (organic): a good blend of Pu'erh tea, Lemon myrtle, Hisbiscus, Licorice roots and some natural Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit oil. If you wanna try a Pu'erh tea, this one is worth the try. With a sweet but delicate scent of blood orange, it tastes nicely sweet which makes it a perfect light blend to enjoy! Medium Caffeine.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 26)

  • Cold 911 (organic): a mix of Peppermint, Juniper berries and Apple (in the new formulation!!) with Eucalyptus flavouring. We'll see in 15 months, if it is as effective against the Cold season, but if the scent is a joyfull of peppermint and eucalyptus, the taste is as excellent as it can be. A new love!!  - Caffeine Free.
  • Forever Nuts: a mix of Apple, Cinnamon, Almond and Beetroot. If you like or love a good cinnamon roll, you should enjoy a lot this herbal. Even if i have a natural sweet tooth, i'm not a big fan at drinking what i eat ... go figure!! But i have to say that this tea is borderline too much, so it's the best of the least for me probably because the taste stays very light, so it's not an explosion inside your mouth?! - ATTENTION / CONTAINS ALMONDSCaffeine Free.
  • Mighty Aphrodite (organic): a mix of Raspberry leaves, Apple, Lemon balm, Rosehip, Raspberry and natural flavouring of red fruits. This new tea has been created especially for us - women - because raspberry leaves an ingredient a lot requested! It is destined to those future moms as well thanks to its multiple benefits (but it is required to talk to a professional before taking any herb while pregnant!!). I was a lot curious and knowing already the taste of the raspberry leaves and the benefits, i jumped with joy to try it ... unfortunately, i have to say that i hate it!! It reminds me so much the taste of dried kale with sour cream that i can pass the taste, sorry. Let's hope you'll have a better chance. Caffeine Free.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

  • Tea my Baby (organic): a total organic blend of Fenugreek, Cinnamon, roasted Carob, Fennel seed and Cocoa flavouring. This all new herbal has been created especially for the soon to be mom, the new ones so they don't have to worry about what they're drinking. That's a nice thought, considering that the ingredients are so good, even if you're not expecting or breast feeding. The scent and the taste are just heaven: a perfect blend of fennel, the roasted carob, cocoa ... well, everything! oh, so good and tasty, i love it!!   - Caffeine Free.
  • Jungle Ju Ju: a Guayusa from Ecuador mixed with some of candied Papaya and Peach. If you wanna drink something to help you stay awake or get more energy, i believe this mixture can make the difference. Don't stop yourself at the scent (nothing cute, but not bad) and just believe me when i say that the taste in your mouth is light and slightly peachy ... cold, oh wow, so good and fresh, surprisingly excellent. A new love of mine! -  !!! CONTAINS SULFITES !!! Stimulant.
  • Pu'erh Ginger (organic): a Pu'erh tea from Yunnan Province in China, Ginger and Orange peel. To be honest, it is a strong gingerly scent out of the box but trust me when i say that it might be the least one of all the different ginger teas offered which is so light weight in your mouth! I even think it might be a good one to mix up with some sparkling water to spice it up a little bit more. I found my ginger tea! Medium Caffeine.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 24)

  • Root Beer Float: a Black tea with Cinnamon, white Chocolate, Sarsaparilla and Safflower petals. Couldn't explain more than the name itself does ... if you like root beer or if you only drink Dr Pepper ... this tea is your new best friend (won't be mine).  - Medium Caffeine.
  • Bravissimo: a mix of Licorice root, Chamomile, Rosehips, Orange peel, Peppermint and Goji berries. I've been told at store that this herbal is perfect to repare any sore throat ... fortunately, it's Summer for the next 18 months (here) so i'll come back and tell you if it does something, but i can tell you that i love the taste! The only thing you gonna catch when you smell it, is the chamomile but when the mixture is in your mouth, let me tell you that the licorice root is nicely bursting out ... i love it! - Caffeine Free.
  • Honey Bee: a mix of Red and Green Roobois with Honeybush, Green mate, Lemon myrtle, Lemon bits, Calendula petals and blue Cornflowers. First thing your nose will get from it, is a nice presence of honey and kind or weirdly chocolate?!? there isn't inside but that's what you smell. When you drink it, this blend becomes more subtle and delicate, i like it and i easily felt the stimulant side of it, don't worry, nothing crazy that makes you all jumpy but just more awake! Stimulant.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

  • Currant Affair: a mix of Roobois with sweet Blackberry leaves and black currant. It's a very nice tea to drink maybe more on colder days but a really good one with a present taste of black currant but nothing to strong.  - Caffeine Free.
  • Super Ginger: a mix of green Roobois with Ginger, black Pepper, white Pepper, pink Peppercorns and Stevia. It'a light smell of ginger, a bit more present on the taste. Not a favorite but maybe mixing in some sparkling water or stuff like that can make it work ... or you'll like it just the way it is?! - Caffeine Free.
  • Cherry Snowcone: a mix of Hibiscus, Rose hip peel, Apple, Currant, Sugar crystals, Elderberry, Lemongrass, sour Cherries and acerola Cherries. To be honest, it smells just like a walk in a cherry orchard and the taste .... still the same feeling, perfect especially on Summer time. It's divine warm and even better cold! A must have!! Caffeine Free.
That's it for today.

  • Pink Lemonade: a mix of Roobois, Hibiscus, Mango, Lemon peel, Lemon myrtle, Lemongrass, Stevia and Cornflower petals. You won't believe how fresh it is cold with a surprising sparkling taste in the background of your mouth, love it! !!!! ATTENTION !!!! CONTAINS SULFITES - Caffeine Free.
  • Mango Fruit Punch: a mix of Pineapple, Mango, Orange peel and slices, Tangerine, Safflower, Marigold and Strawberry. A nice and simple smell and taste of punch of fruit with a background of mango, nothing is too much here. - Caffeine Free.
  • Licorice Twist: a mix of Licorice root, Nana mint, Fennel seeds, Anise seeds, Cocoa, candied Pineapple, Ginger, Peppermint, Nettle leaf, Chili, bruised Pepper, Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Safflower blossom and Marigold blossoms. First thing 1st, i LOVE licorice that's why i was kind of exciting to get this one, unfortunately, the result is so far away from it that it's a complete disappointment for me. I think that it because of all of the different spices - yes that's the twist!! - added that licorice get lost! It's a real pass for me but maybe you'll love it?! - Caffeine Free.
That's it for today.

  • Orange Blossom: a Roobois with Orange peels, Orange blossoms, Currants, Vanilla pieces, Marigold blossoms and Safflower petals. It's nice and light when it's warm but cold ... it's a keeper to refresh yourself with a subtle lemony taste!  - Caffeine Free.
  • Watermelon Mint: a mix of Apples, Honeydew melon, Peppermint, Carrot, Watermelon, Beetroot and Wild Strawberry leaves. The mint is what you smell at first, then warm, you recognize the honeydew melon. It's pleasant warm but it's definitely a keeper cold for the summer! - Caffeine Free.
  • Queen of Tarts (Organic): a mix of Hibiscus, Marigold, Stevia, Guayusa (from Ecuador) and natural fruit and berry flavouring. I rephrase: 'it's a super-energizing burst', so if you need to stay awake, this is another option for you with a nice tart taste (when it's warm). Cold, it'll be even better because the sourish taste is gone!! Stimulant.

Now pay attention, this is a new one in stores, so run and try it, i'm sure you gonna fall in love just like me. Warm it's nice to drink but its strength will be cold - !!!! ATTENTION !!!! CONTAINS COCONUT - Caffeine Free.
  • Earl Grey: a Black tea with Cornflower petals and bergamot oil. I do like bergamot (if haven't noticed yet!) and the Earl Grey from your groceries is a nice choice when i wanna reach for a classic tea ... unfortunately, this one doesn't taste good at all!! What a disappointment for me but maybe you'll love it?!?! - Medium Caffeine.
  • Countess of Seville (Organic): a Green Tea (Zhejing Province, China) with Orange peel, Cornflowers as well as orange and bergamot oils. This green one is light inside your mouth and nice-tasting as long as the water temperature is around 170F (76C) otherwise it becomes a bit bitter ... not pleasant! If you want a Green Tea without noticeable flavours ... you'll like this one. Medium Caffeine.
That's it for today.

  • The Earl's Garden: a Black Ceylon tea with Strawberries, blue Cornflowers, Calendula petals as well as natural and artificial Bergamot and Strawberry flavouring. It smells nicely the bergamot (which i love) plus something else and the taste is not bad! It's not exactly the earl grey but you definitely gonna need to add a bit of milk and sugar to get a better taste. Not a favorite ... may be yours?! - Medium Caffeine.
  • Sangria: a mix of Apples, Licorice root, Hibiscus, sweet Blackberry leaves, Orange, Strawberry and Raspberry. To be honest, it smells just like sangria, it is absolutely amazing!! and the taste as fantastic, plus it will parfume the room, they really did an incredible job with this herbal.
  • Citron Oolong: an Oolong tea with a mix of Jasmine flowers and Lemon myrtle. The smell is  a beautiful, light and fresh lemony delight ... when it's warm ... it's a sweet and soft blanket. I love it !   - Low Caffeine.
  • Cream of Earl Grey (organic): a black Tea with a mix of Cornflowers and natural Vanilla and Bergamot flavouring. The outcome : a delightful, sweet and light vanilla black tea, perfect with a cold weather. One of my favorite.  - Medium Caffeine.
  • Mango Madness: a White Bai Mu Dan tea with Apple pieces, Orange peel, Pineapple, Mango, Orange Slices, freeze dried Tangerine pieces, Safflower petals, freeze dried Strawberry pieces and Marigold blossom. If you like mango but you don't want something too tasty in your mouth, this is your tea. This blend - as long as you add the water at the perfect temperature - is very lightly fruity but so refreshing ! - Low Caffeine.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 12)

  • Goji Pop: a mix of Apple, Goji berries, Hibiscus, Rosehips, Honeydew melon and Marigold petals. It's supposed to be a super helper for your heath and body ... but the smell is not so friendly, you'll said «whatever» but the taste is pretty much as pleasant as the smell is :( and that, for me is, a big regret. It's not a favorite of mine. - Caffeine Free.
  • Redberry tonic: a mix of Apple, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Lemongrass, sea Buckthorn and Goji berries. You open the bag and the first thing you sniffle : a mix of lemon/almond/apple. The outcome : a delightful, sweet and light herbal. Warm, it's wonderful but cold, it'll be perfect! I love it.  - Caffeine Free.
  • Birthday Cake: a red and green Roobois with Honeybush, freeze-dried ice cream bits and sprinkles. You may thing you'll find a birthday cake inside the bag (of course not!) and quite surprisingly the taste reminds me a cup of decaf! It's a nice blend. CONTAINS MILK / SOY / EGGS Caffeine Free.
That's it for today.
You'll have some more coming up soon!! In between, try to make some good to your body and dring a very good quality of teas.

A Cup of David's Tea?! (part 11)

  • Jessie's Tea: a Roobois tea with a mix of Honeybush, Coconut bits, Lavender and blue Cornflowers. It's funny, because when you smell the blend, it's like there's some chocolate lost inside (but there isn't!) you don't know if you gonna like it. Let me tell you that this tea is worth the try before adopting it definitely! It gives you a light taste of a sweet freshness with a pinch of lavender. It's a really nice surprise! CONTAINS COCONUTCaffeine Free.
  • New Delhi Delight: a mix of Coriander seeds, Fennel seeds and Cumin seeds. Three simple ingredients but a perfect combination to help you with a heavy meal. It's smell a little bit the cumin but the taste inside the mouth is very light, nothing to disturbe. Very useful ... unfortunately i must warn you that this blend is only availabe online (with some luck in a few stores!) because it's about to be discontinued. Why am i still talking about it? I think it's a shame to lose this one and for those who might be interesting to help your body thanks to mother nature, it's time to put your hand on it; you'll have a 40% discount applied at checkout on 250g but it's absolutely worth it!!Caffeine Free.
  • Mulberry Magic: an herbal with a mix of Mulberry leafs and organic Macadamia nuts. The smell in the jar is kind of sweet but like ... like a sweet caress (if it makes sense?!) and you keep it when you taste it in your mouth. This herbal is mostely useful for your body in many ways thanks to all the different qualities it offers. So, not only good to drink, it's good for your body!  CONTAINS MACADAMIA NUTS - Caffeine Free.
That's it for today.
